Vehicle not accessed by Miway and fixed by amateur panel beaters panel city Kokstad

Claim (***)I collected my vehicle on 12.05.2023 from Panel City Kokstad after stressful 5 months two days after I collected my vehicle I notice that the bumper is opening due to poor workmanship and both of my front lights are chipped I did raise this with Miway and the panel beaters and according to the panel beaters they received the vehicle with chipped lights from the storage regarding the bumper I will have to take the vehicle back to Kokstad for inspection, I did ask them at whose expense as I’m based in Johannesburg its either they liaise with one of the panel beaters in Johannesburg or tow the car back to Kokstad and there was no response, to my surprise the vehicle was not accessed by Miway after it was repaired I had to request for that to date I’m still waiting for Lusanda Mafenuka to come back to me.

I do have clear pictures taken at-panel city premises on 17.01.2023 and the lights are not chipped there was a question posed by Lusanda Mafenuka that if the vehicle came with chipped lights why was the additional not logged and there was no response.

Miway as a big insurance company just pays claims without accessing them and also disappointing that they also work with amateur panel beaters.
