Vehicle insurance claim bad service

On 28/10/2022, my wife accidentally activated the remote to close the garage door at my daughters house. Unfortunately, she was not completely out or in, the garage with an electrically driven motor came down on the roof of the car, near the boot lid. The roof, boot lid, rubber strips as well as the bottom left fender, according to me were damaged. The electric garage door does come down with some force, and the resulting disbur*****t of energy may have caused the left fender to go out of alignment. MiWay approved the claim and I took the vehicle to RenewIt on 1 /11/2022. I collected the vehicle late, just before closing time on 11/11/2022. Driving away, the boot lid open indicator was on. The bot lid could not be closed properly. I was away the following week and took the vehicle back to RenewIt on 21/11/2022. Pointed out the defects of the lid not closing, the rubber strip on the RHS was still damaged, and left rubber strip that was replaced was damaged by the boot lid not being correctly aligned. I also pointed the left fender being out of alignment. After an argy bargy with RenewIt, they agreed to take the vehicle in and ask RenewIt for authorisation for the left fender and to replace the rubber strips. Late on the 21/11/2022, I received a call from RenewIt asking why the vehicle is there. The next day, the person who dealt with me called and advised it was under control. To sum up, from around the 16 to 30/11/2022, I had 4 calls to MiWay claims advising they would investigate and get back to me. I think on the 30/11/2022, a claims advisor told me that the vehicle had been inspected and the fender in question was the subject of a previous repair, which occurred about 3 years ago, and they would not cover it. On 2/12/2022, RenewIt informed me the repair of the fender was not approved, the boot lid closing problem had been repaired. The rubber strips however were on back order and would only be arriving on 11/12/2022. I was then to bring the vehicle back. RenewIt had the vehicle for close to 4 weeks.
