Vehicle Claim Process

On March 30, 2024, I filed a claim for my vehicle. It took two weeks for my claim to get approved. Initially, I was informed that my vehicle would be sent to a nearby service provider, but two days later, they changed it without consulting me. Despite this, I overlooked it because I just wanted my vehicle fixed. It took another week for the service provider to assess my vehicle and send the additional parts list to MiWay. However, MiWay decided to write off my vehicle. Opting for the buy-back option due to its sentimental value, I received a release letter to collect my vehicle. However, upon arrival with my private rollback, I discovered that the service provider was not informed of my decision, resulting in them being unable to release my vehicle until they assessed the cost of the work already done. After three hours of discussion, I was asked to return home without my car. Throughout this process, I had to initiate calls to get updates, as MiWay failed to keep me informed. I strongly advise against choosing MiWay, as their lack of transparency and client service leaves much to be desired.
