Validating my petrol tank

I actually wanted to cancel the policy because it was 3 weeks since I had the and had already started fixing my car. A call centre agent advised me that I can still claim. I did put a claim in and my car was collected from where it was being fixed. The validation gave me the reason to complain and advice anyone to rather choose another insurance NOT Miway. After the claim was rejected my car was brought back and My car petrol cap was opened and the rear view mirror was **********. Was this the reason why my car was picked up from my place in the first place?
