Unresolved Claim

I was involved in a car accident on the 02nd November 2023 and my car written off. I got paid my claim money on the 22nd November 2023 and I was told that the excess deducted will be paid if the company of the driver who caused the accident paid out which they will deal with legally. I understood and to this day I have not received any feedback as to what is happening with claim. Its over 6 months now and this has still not been resolved. I was sent an sms regarding the person handling my claim not even once has the person contacted me. I don't if I will ever get my money or I should just cut my losses. I used to be a fan of Miway Insurance but slowly I am loosing interest.
