UNRELIABLE INSURANCE

THIS INSURANCE IS A DISASTER!!!

My car was involved in a car accident-head on collision where the other driver who was drunk was at fault as he drove on "on coming traffic" . I claimed with my insurance hoping that they will be assist me in claiming from the other guy's insurance. Little did I know that the nightmare with Miway had started. I was sent from pillar to post, no one communicated with me, I had to be the one calling them regularly. When I was finally assisted I was told that I am not the "regular driver" but my son is, hence they are rejecting my claim. This speculation was not backed up by any evidence. I travel between Eastern Cape and Cape Town as I work in Cape Town, I even have traffic fines that prove that my car has travels on this route, however, Miway was unable to prove that I am "not" the regular driver because I AM.

I have been paying this insurance for 2 years and when I need it the most, it turns its back on me. I was told that my premiums will be paid back, they showed me the amount of R10,903.78, as I was still grasping that, I was told that R3,315.78 was for (Accident tow) R8,000.00 (Validation fee) that I know nothing about , leaving me with a balance of 11,315.78 meaning I was not gona get anything, instead I had to pay extra meanwhile I was not at fault from the start when the accident happened. I am left carless and have more debt to pay, why have an insurance if it can't cover you. I would not recommend Miway to anyone , my family members who are with Miway are also pulling out of this insurance.
