UNHAPPY AND VERY DISAPPOINTED CLIENT!!!!

I am having issues with MiWay. On the 5th of August 2021 I logged a claim for an accident which was not my fault but the other driver.

I'm so disappointed in how this claim has been handled by Miway, You're saying my car is written off. All the necessary processes were followed on my end, and all necessary information you required was forwarded to you and on time. It saddened me when I received a call from (Joseph Atlarelang Nhlapo) Miway Insurance claim representative informing me that they are planning not to cover the full credit short fall on my vehicle write off but instead recommend to pay a portion of R9000 of the outstanding finance amount which I told him it’s UNACCEPTABLE!!! He then said his going back to re-calculate and that to me is unprofessional and very suspicious of Miway. You either fix my car or when you decide to write off then pay the outstanding amount using credit short fall cover.

With that said, My vehicle is covered for a retail value and I also have the credit shortfall cover which I was advised upon taking up my policy that it will help me to cover in the event that the amount I owe (including residual amounts/balloon payments) exceeds the retail value. In other words, it covers for the gap between the retail price and the outstanding finance amount. I have been patient with you enough and now I’m terribly disgusted with the service I’m getting from you after going through a traumatic car accident experience and losing my car that I adore, paying all my premiums on time and now you're giving me the run around. even the Consultants take their time getting back to me. You don't live up to your values as a company and I strongly feel that by doing so you want to make sure that you find ways of not paying out a valid claim.

I'm expecting this claim to be resolved in a very professional and ethical manner so don't take chances. if *****ing your clients is your way of work then please don't try it with me. I want feedback on how this matter will be resolved and also want my outstanding amount to be paid as stipulated.
