unfair treatment

Dear SA Residents, this my story about Miway Insurance:

On the 12/01/2019 at about 23:00 I was driving my car down Armitage road in Pietermaritzburg to buy some food.

As I was driving, a white Ford Ranger (NP 18932) came at high speed straight into my lane and hit me head on, it happened so fast. It was driven by Haydon W Wiid.

I got out of my car and noted that the this Ford Ranger was driven by a white man who appeared to have been drunk, could barely stand. Soon after, white woman approached me with a very bad attitude instructing me to provide her with my driving license because she is a member of SAPS, remember the lady was not even on police uniform, and was not in the vehicle I collided with.

Within 5 minutes or less the scene of the accident was full of only whites, while I was still shocked about these people a police official with a name tag "Mr Chagwe" from a police station in Loop Street in Pietermaritzburg came direct to me forcing me to go at the back of Police Van. During this time I noted that some of these people that were with this other driver including the lady who wanted my driving licence were also instructing Mr Chagwe to take me and to leave the other driver.

I refused to go with the police as I was asking him to also take this other driver. My wife and cousins also arrived at the scene and asked the same thing as to why this other driver not taken away for blood test but Mr Chagwe just kept on saying we cannot tell him on how he must perform his duties.

Mr Chagwe managed to force me into the back of his car as if I'm the ******** and he roughly drove his car to Northdale Hospital which was far from the scene of the accident. We got there after 01:15 aprox, the other driver never to be seen.

When we got to the hospital in the Dr's room, when the Dr asked me for test I said I'm not going to test without the other driver and my lawyer. I was read my rights, so I was not under arrest. Both Mr Chagwe and the Dr tried to force me and to take my phones but I kept on telling them to treat the matter fair but they just called for more force to help them.

The police force including the security guards arrived at the Dr's room and told me that if I don't allow the Dr to test me they will beat me up. I cannot tell whether or not that needle inserted my arm as I was being victimised my Police, Dr, and security guards.

Following day a case for drunken driving, recklessness and negligent driving was opened against me. Miway insurance already was made aware of my accident when I called to report it.

Monday I went to Loop Police station to make Accident report and I was told that the AR for my accident has already been opened so I can't open anther AR for the same accident. But guess what, the opened AR with its copies was missing. So I was told to just make an affidavit of which I did. An investigating officer from Miway "Mr Wayne Araujo" was appointed to investigate my case. He phoned me on 18/01/2019 asking me a lot questions that we all know they ask when they want to decline. At the end of the conversation I asked him if he can make time with me so that I can take him to the scene of the accident and he said its fine he will do that.

On 23/01/2019 when I phoned Wayne he said unfortunately he decided to go to the scene alone and he is already in Johannesburg so he can't come back.

On 24/01/2019 Wayne phoned and informed me that unfortunately the commit at which he presented my case decided not to entertain my case because they believe that I was driving my car understeer influence. We can, for now, set aside the fact that there is NO EVIDENCE of this! I was not tested for alcohol at the scene. Here is an observation, Miway did not consider the position of both vehicles at the scene. Testimony of the Witness. This Wayne did not investigate that scene. The pictures were not taken by Police and therefore, The sister, the father, friends colluded with Police to make me the guilty party of the accident. Miway took a call from a stranger reporting an accident I was involved in, and used it against me. SAPS: Is it common in PMB that citizens Identify themselves as SAPS Members? Is it common that people are whisked away from the crime scene in your presence? Is it common that items including bottles of booze are removed from vehicle involved, in your presence? The father of the Ranger Driver is an ex-cop, dog unit, does this mean his drunkard of a son must have preferential treatment?

I want this to be thoroughly investigated, and the driver Mr Haydon Wiid jr and Sr answer. SAPS in Pietermaritzburg and their favouring of Whites has to be questioned (I have two prior stories).

Please share this so that it reaches whoever uses MIWAY. NL Mkondweni Policy No: **********
