Unacceptable Delay and no Communication
I am extremely frustrated with how my claim has been handled by MiWay Insurance. My vehicle has been at a MiWay-approved panel beater since January 2026, and to this day the repair has not been completed due to a part with no estimated time of arrival (ETA). The last update I received was on 5 February, with a projected completion date of 13 February. That deadline passed months ago, and since then I have received no meaningful updates. I have contacted MiWay multiple times, including calling this morning where I was promised a callback. I have still not received any response. I am constantly being told to speak to the panel beater, which is unacceptable. MiWay approved the repairer and should be managing this process. This situation has now caused serious loss of use, as this is my only vehicle and I have no transport. I am requesting urgent intervention from MiWay to: Provide a clear resolution and timeline Approve alternative part sourcing Or move the vehicle to another repairer This level of service is unacceptable.

Following my previous complaint, I was contacted by MiWay and informed that the required part would arrive “this week”.
However, this is concerning as there is now only one working day remaining, with Friday being a public holiday, and I still have no confirmed delivery date.
I would like to highlight that the last update I received was on 5 February, with a projected completion date of 13 February. This deadline was missed, and since then there has been no proper communication or progress.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I continue to receive vague responses and no clear timeline.
In addition, I have been left without any form of transport during this entire period. This is my only vehicle, and the delay has caused serious loss of use and disruption to my daily responsibilities.
I am requesting urgent intervention to:
- Confirm whether the part will arrive tomorrow
- Provide a confirmed delivery date if not
- Provide a clear repair completion timeline
- Address the lack of transport due to the excessive delay
This matter has gone on for far too long without resolution, and I now require clear answers and immediate action.
