Two months later still no response from Miway
20 June 2023 - first reveiw was written to Miway. Today 23 August 2023 still no response has been received.
Review of 20/06/2023 Our vehicle, a 2.4L Toyota bakkie from 2004, was in an accident with a MiWay client. Our experience with MiWay is quite negative. Our vehicle is immobile since the accident and has now been standing for longer than one month while the issue is still unresolved with MiWay. The accent was 100% the Miway client’s fault, and he even admitted it. It was impossible to avoid the accident as our vehicle where right next to him when he decided to go left after he was indicating to go right. MiWay, representing their client, offered a settlement of almost one third of the cheapest repair quotation we received. For example, MiWay claim we could get a new RH door for that Toyota bakkie supp****, spray-painted and fitted for R3873.50. Less than 50% of our cheapest quote. That’s ridiculous. On top of that, they refused to carry the full repair cost because by default they reckon we are 30% at fault. After their ridiculous offer, we suggested that they come fetch the vehicle and get it repaired wherever their cheap offer came from, but MiWay refused. All we want is our vehicle back to the state it was in before the accident, right now the vehicle is not mobile

My first post on Hallopeter was June 2023
Since then we have had one phone call from MiWay, with no results.
I am worried that this medium does not offer the consumer the support that It requires.
