Totally disappointing in MiWay

I have been with MiWay Insurance for close to 9 years and in my darkest hour they have truly disappointing me. My family was recently attached in a riot and my vehicle was damaged. Even though it is an old vehicle we took precautions by insuring it with what i thought was the best company around. i diligently paid all my premiums but in the end was informed that my car was a write off without the option to buy back. while i understand this i feel that MiWay could have stepped up and either come up with a deal or even assisted in giving me an ex-gratia payment. Thereafter i was informed that my car would no longer be insured as i had taken back the claim and am fixing my car on my own which cost almost a third less than what was quoted for by MiWay. however when my debit order went off this month i was still charged for the car they are no longer insuring. i have lost all hope in this company and will be moving my insurance elsewhere. i understand that my minuscule amount will not affect them, but even though my family has fallen on though financial times i kept my insurance thinking that it will be wise, but it has only dented my pocket even further. i do not feel that MiWay puts its clients first. i clearly was not
