Title might be a swear word

I had a theft incident for the very first time ever, and guess what..... I'm being threatened(disguised as reasonable request) by Miway assessors that if I don't provide Proof of ownership for the missing items they might cancel my policy... Interesting enough I don't have receipts, boxes or pictures of most of my items insured with Miway. Had I being told prior to joining this stupid cover, I would have taken pictures of the items I have insured.

I just went through my policy and section about proof of ownership doesn't say anything about the nonsense I'm being told on the "reasonable request " letter.

I have provided case number, and if they really want names of people who came to my party I can provide them or they can ask the security by the boom gate.

What I will not do is thumb suck proof of ownership.

If not having proof of ownership is a problem then reject my claim and stop threatening me with policy cancellation because I can cancel the stupid policy myself.

I thought of just keeping quiet and leave this be, but here I am...

Stefan from MiWay had indeed contacted me and explained the procedure to obtain invoices, and we agreed that I would send them during the week as I was busy with work commitments.

However things didn't go as planned.
A series of events happened and I missed the deadline to submit. As if that wasn't bad enough, my case was also closed without any investigations. Followed by Miway cancelling my policy without talking to me first. I tried getting ahold of someone, but because I was not a client no more, that proved to be unsuccessful. I found out after the claim was cancelled that the assessors emails were going to spam folder(Maybe I should take the blame for technology on this one)

However I am disappointed that after so many years being with Miway(probably 7 years in total), you guys failed to look at the trend and analyzed the kind of customer that I have been all these years. You cancelled my policy based on the fact that I missed the deadline without making an effort to try and understand why I failed to submit the documents.

I'm not angry anymore and have accepted the poor treatment from Miway, but at the end of the day I do understand that business is business.
This is not me trying to get back in your books by the way.
