Certainly not the insured's way, but their way. After break-in attempt to my vehicle they said they will not pay out anything as the damage is below R2000 according to them. The lock set and ignition alone cost about R7000, damaged door rubbers and labour excluded. Ended up with a bill of around R11000 which I had to pay out of my own pocket.
