The worst insurance ever!

Its with great disappointment that i am even a client of MiWay. On the 25.04.2022 i logged a call at 9:43am to have our company vehicle which is a cash generating asset required road side assistance. The call was taken by an agent who apparently can not deal with commercial insurance vehicles. At 9:45 that the call ended and i was promised to be called back with an eta. No call was ever received.

I called back and i spoke to the same agent who said she couldn’t call back as there were many people calling the call centre and she couldn’t call back. She then said she is escalating the matter and she would call me. 2 hours later, no feedback , until I logged another call as my driver was wanting on the side of the road, with diesel pouring out profusely from the tank. I was told that no one created a case and that the person who dealt with me was not trained to speak with commercial clients. A case number was created and yet again i was told that i would be called back. No one called. Every hour i would call back to find out what is happening, with no clear directive. I was told that they are still awaiting eta from the dispatchers. Dispatchers then wanted to send their “friend” whom i never requested to come fix the diesel tank. My initial request was to have my vehicle towed to the nearest mercedes benz approved dealership and not some random company or person fixing a diesel tank

I know that you do not fix a tank but its replaceable. More hours go by with no assistance or follow up calls from any agent. It was only at 5pm that the vehicle was towed. This was after losing 100 litres from the diesel tank. 100 litres that could have been saved, 100 litres that could have be used.

0n the 25th of April i received a call from a person stating that they from the towing company and that we owe them money. I asked what the money is for and I was told that its a shortfall that MiWay instructed the towing company that we would pay. No one told us about r5000 payment. I even asked them , as to why are we paying for a roadside assist. I then received a call from the mercedes benz dealer and my driver that the towing company has now taken our vehicle keys. He said we should pay up or they are keeping the keys. We then logged call in the morning stating our confusion, and frustration and we were told that it was a miscommunication internally. We were told that the keys would be by the driver by 12. It is now 10pm and still no keys. If a duplicate was made how would we know when someone has taken our keys ********ly? Should we get police involved? Another call was logged and there was no clear answer

I have already started looking for another insurance. Its been a month with MiWay but it has been the worse experience i have ever experienced, let alone the time and money lost Diesel was waisted unnecessarily whilst waiting over 9 hours to get a tow truck (what is meant to be an emergency service)

No one ever calls back. Agents, team leaders or managers are no where to be found nor do they provide assistance. You are made to hold aimlessly for more disappointments

I would never recommend MiWay to anyone.
