The peak of unprofessionalism and appalling service

I had a car (registration number: TTL 763 GP) breakdown [the CV Joint boats came out on the right hand side] on the 22nd of December 2016 at Carnival Mall. After calling MiWay [reference number: MC806290, I remeber speaking to Thabang, Puleng and Kagiso regarding the matter and they all said they will come back to me, nobody came back to me], a tow driver by the name of Albert from 1First Group. He towed my car in the wrong direction and therefore damaged my car [pictures are attached]. I then called again, informing them that the tow drriver they sent damaged my car, this when the driver told me that the tow truck he was using was not the correct one to use for my car. Albert called 1First Group to send a smaller tow truck. Another driver by the name of Daniel came and he said that the first tow truck that Albert had come with was actually the correct one, Daniel also said that Albert just did not know how to use the tow truck. Daniel called 1First Group again to send the very same first tow truck that Albert had come with. The car was towed at around 10pm that day, it was towed to 'Renew It' in Edenvale. Daniel also called his boss at 1First Group, Jeff [ ********** 282], the boss instructed that they tow my car to Renew It. I then called MiWay to inform them that my car was towed to 'Renew It' and nobody, even to this day, has called me back.

MiWay just gave me a reference number of which they do not even follow up on like other insurance companies. The company clearly has no intention of helping me sort out this issue since no one from MiWay has called back.

Now I recieved a quotation from 'Renew It', which amounts to a total of R42,075.94 [quote attached]. My car is still at the 'Renew It' premises. When I call Renew It I am told that there is no assessor that came to check my car, I then asked to get an assessor from Renew It by the name of Randy. Randy had initially said that it would cost around +/-R1,200.00 to fix the cv joints and that 1First Group would fix that Albert (their employee) had caused. Steve from 1First Group then called me on the 19 December 2016, asking for before and after the tow pictures of my car. The guys from 1First Group did not even take any pictures of my car, it was entirely my responsibility to take photos. Imagine what would have happened had I not taken any pictures from my side.

To this day, my car is still at the Renew It premises in Edenvale [ ********** 606].
