Takes your money and runs!

Last week we had a major unexpected hail storm in Burgersfort. My car got hail damages so I phoned Miway and reported the matter. They sent me to a panelbeater in town who quoted an outrageous amount to repair. Miway said my car is a write-off due to the amount the panelbeaters quoted. I was told that they would send someone to pick up my car and they will pay the outstanding balance (hire purchase). This would leave me without a car!! I requested if I could get other quotes and was told I may. I got 2 other quotes. The first quote was for R36 000, the second quote was R44 000 and the third quote was R20 000. All quotes were from registered panel beaters. I sent all quotes through and today I was informed by Phumzile Mkhize that the assessor advises that the car is still a write-off. How can my car be a write-off when 2 of the quotes were under the retail value of my car? I paid every month my insurance faithfully, have not claimed once and now that I require my car to be repaired they run from their responsibilities. How do you justify the fact that you took my money eagerly but refuse to keep up your end of the bargain. Thanks for the great birthday gift!!
