Storm claim rejected

I took My way home insurance. We have experienced floods and Durban and I claimed for retaining wall which fell , paving , roof damage and ceiling. They have declined the retaining wall as I did not have any engineer certificate and stated this is per their terms and conditions. I then enquired with regards to the house damages due to the wind and storm. They are also claiming this was due to poor workmanship and old pre existing problem. This is wrong , The issue is due to the storm that occurred. They are denying everything basically, they are no issues that were caused by the current storm. They took your monthly payment and when it time to pay they will mend all the problems to either old issues incurred or poor workmanship. They also undermine houses not acquired using a loan/ bond repayment . They are mentioning the issues are due to the valley as it is wide open. since when is Nazareth the valley now !!
