Sorry is not good enough!

On Tuesday, the 15th of December, my car broke down at my work's premises. I phoned Miway. Told that I would have to pay R370 on the towing as they only cover up to 40 kms and I am 36 kms away from home. This raises questions. Then I am told that the distance is 36 times 2 as the tow truck needs to return to Alrode. This all happened between 4.40 and 4.55. After about 4 phone calls to see where the tow truck was, they eventually came at 6.15pm. And in that time period Miway phoned me back once.

This is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves. What if I had broken down in a bad area as I travel the R554 everyday. I am a woman alone. Not to mention that my friend's son and my friend were waiting for the tow truck to arrive with my car till 6.15. Do you pay their labour! Sorry is not good enough. Is this how you treat all your clients? I will be looking for another insurance company in the New Year.
