Sneaky policy updates

I received my updated policy schedule from MiWay via silent email. From past experience I am used to MiWay contacting me telephonically and communicating with me that my policy is being updated and the price will be increasing and the reasons why, but this time that didn't happen. I didn't get to talk to some one to negotiate a fair price and to understand the increase.<br> But what has annoyed me and unnerved me even more is actually reading through my new policy schedule and finding MiWay's sneaky amendments. It's one thing to increase my monthly policy amount, it's something else entirely to raise excess from the R1000 it has always been to R3500 without ever saying anything - hoping no one will notice?.. I feel that this is completely underhanded and it's really making me question whether I want to carry on with an insurance company that does business this way?<br> Having spoken to friends, I know that I am not the only person this has been done to..
