Sleezy and Cheap tactics to trap clients

<p>I got a call from MiWay to beat my current comprehensive car insurance which is Outsurance and it resulted in a nightmare. After the quote i told them that i would finish off the month of June with Outsurance then start with them 1 July so that i don't have refund issues. Then in the same call they put me through to Outsurance to cancel. So when I spoke to Outsurance they brought down my premium offer even though it was still more than MiWay. The Outsurance guy did say he can't give me a better offer than miWay but i would come back crying because of the number of complaints people make against other insurers. Mind you i have been with them for 3 years now but i felt maybe it's time to see what is out there. They were one of the few companies that were willing to ensure my Chana Benni back in 2013. I decided to think about it in the meantime since I still had close to 2 weeks left still. But MiWay had sent the contract for me to see the details and I did. I was happy with their offer until they decided to debit my account ANYWAY 4 days before 1 July. I was so upset because it was close to R600 and that was my money for other things till pay day. When i called the following day some idiotic call centre agent told me the reason they did that was because they were CHECKING if the debit order would go through. WHAT THE HELL??? So who gives them the right to peak into my account? and mind you the contract clearly states that it will be in effect from the first of JULY. NOT when they decide to trap me in advance. </p> <p> </p> <p>NOTE TO MiWay!!!!! You definitely do things YOUR WAY not mine. And companies like you end up taking money early in December assuming that I wont leave it for you to debit. I hate black Chritmast that is caused by GREEDY and SNEAKY companies like you. That is why you say we need to give the banking details in order for your system to give me a quote so that you can continue to debit anyway. You are just like DISCOVERY insurance. You do as YOU please once you get a hold of our banking details. SIES MAN. It's disgusting. </p> <p> </p> <p>BY THE WAY Outsurance has NEVER done that with me over our 3 year relationship. Infact they would debit 2 or 3 days late and still find their money without issues. And never have I had to fight with them for being LASTIG.</p> <p> </p> <p>SIES.</p>
