SHODDY NON CARING SERVICE FROM MY WAY.
Hi there! I had an accident on 5th July2024 (Friday)Reported Accident the same day A week end followed. Insurers contacted me on the following Monday which was a prompt response detailing the Panel Beaters. I checked reviews of this Panel Beaters which were not so good and also my vehicle post accident had a rattling noise and being a Senior Lady was scared to drive it a far distance. My request for an alternate Panel Beater which are approved repairers for Mi Way confirmed by the consultant, is 5mins from Morningside Manor in Sandton, where I live by myself. My request was given immediately on 5th July 2024 The consultant said she had requested approval. Today it is 12th July, a week ago I had an accident, and I am still waiting to get approval to take my vehicle to the Panel Beaters. I have called several times , sent emails and I am still waiting. This is really unacceptable I am a Senior lady and need to have a vehicle as I live by myself and have no help. How long does it take for approval ?My finances are limited aswell. I have advised them of my status but no one seems to care. I am totally frustrated at this attitude displayed.

On the 5th July I requested that I take my vehicle to NORTH CITY PANELBEATERS, as an alternative.
The reviews I read from Proline Express were not appealing hence my request . The other reason I requested is that its 5mins from where I live.
Although I drove the vehicle from the accident site , I didn't want to drive too far as there is a rattling noise. One week has passed and I called Neliswe the Consultant who dealt with me. Again I had to call her. She advised me that she had followed up again on Friday 12th July 2024. She was still waiting for
Authorization from that dept.
I called several times and asked for the Manager of that Dept., ofcourse NO ONE KNOWS THE MANAGERS DETAILS ( CONVENIENTLY)
6 WORKING DAYS TO AUTHORIZE A PANEL BEATER IS UNACCEPTABLE. To think that My Claim NO*** was Authorized on 5th July 2024. An alternate Panel Beater surely doesnt take that long.
At Miway they DONOT CARE ABOUT CLIENT SERVICE NOR SATISFACTION.
I told them I live alone and have no help and need my vehicle being a SENIOR LADY
Once they have your contract signed and have your money they dont care in the least.
