Ridiculous service and T&C's that make no sense. Rather skip them.

MiWay refuses to cover me for theft and hijack due to not installing a Cartrack Fleet management system and signing a 3year contract through them. There is no security difference between the unit I have and a fleet management system, the only difference is that a fleet management system meant for businesses to manage their fleet is that you can track fuel usage, and pull trip reports. The only real reason they wont cover me is that they dont get to sell a more expensive service, they have a deal with the tracking companies where they receive a kickback of each sale. How on earth can this be allowed? Then it is a Total of R30 odd rand less if you dont take theft and hijack cover, so if you only want theft and hijack cover try miway you will be covered for under R50? Further they changed excess amounts on my policy without any notice. MiWay is an absolute embarrassment of a service provider, being an ISO 9001 certified organization? How on earth do you pass your audits, also with a deal I suppose?
