Ridiculous 30 day notice period for cancellation
I am moving over to a different insurer and I wanted to cancel my insurance policy with MiWay.

On the 5th of October 2015 I phoned to cancel my policy.

After telling three separate people that I am not interested in them trying to beat my premium, they still kept badgering me to allow them to challenge my new premium. It took 18 minutes to convince them to stop.

Then they told me I had to give a 30 days notice for cancellation. Why?
If I don't want to make use of your service, and I did not take up a contract, then I should not be obligated to pay another premium because I did not give notice on the exact date my premium was paid for the coming month.

If I want to cancel my policy and I give notice days before they issue the bank with a debit order notice, there should be no reason for me to be bul**** into taking up another X amount of days because of a service provider's stupid clauses.

They told me they would phone me back in a few minutes. I waited a day, and phoned again. Same story. So, today on the 7th of October 2015, I phoned again. And again they are trying to bully me into a 30 day notice period. It is unacceptable.

I will never consider any MiWay product again.
