Retail, but pay less than Trade

Getting SMS that say the hire car should be returned to Avis by the 5th, and note the 5th is on a Sunday, so it should be returned before that.

This entire thing is dragged out by Miway, MiWay is extrermely slow.

I’m currently not very happy with MiWay. I checked HelloPeter and Mybroadband, seems like I’m not the only one feeling this way. Originally Miway had good reviews on HelloPeter, the reason for going with this insurance, but I regret my decision, the customer service is pathetic.

My car was also insured for Retail, but if one go and google the same car, that car retails by most dealers for R90k+, but MiWay pays out only R45k, it is like it was trade value or even lower.

Retail means it is suppose to pay out enough so that you can go and replace the car with the same model, year, etc.

I think they are dragging this out to get the full deduction from my account on the 15th with the Corolla still on it.
