Refund not done

I canceled my insurance on the 22nd of August as they couldn't give me a better offer on my new vehicle,they promised to refund my premium in 7 working days,it's way past 7 days had to call them again yesterday and spoke to a guy named Mandla who said it was not requested,which makes no sense to me.He promised that money will be in my account within 24h4s and that too has passed,this is a serious inconvenience for me as I spend money to call them only to be **** to again and again.very disappointed in the company because I had always thought they ate the best.
