R400 Challenge **** / False pretenses / Waste of time

<p>Recently i have been contacted by Miway to enter the R400 challenge. i accepted, though informing them that i recently changed my policy to one with 'no excess' with my current insurance just two days prior and it will be effective from the 1st of Dec. The lady did tell me that its fine, i just need my current amount i am paying as they claimed if they cant beat my current insurance with their quote, they will pay me R400. She asked me a series of questions, which i answered all. They quoted me after, which the quote was more than double of what i am currently paying. The lady then proceeded to ask me to email my insurance contract(which is just over 6months old. fyi) for them to validate it. i did send it. There was no reply from them for almost over a week, until a guy called to confirm if i accept their quote?? i told him no, and explained about the R400 challenge, to which the same lady contacted me in the evening to tell me that they require my policy to be less than 3months old. I contacted my current insurance, which they sent me my new updated policy (and it shows : effective 1st Dec). i sent it to miway, to which the lady calls today to offer me another quote that incls excess, which is still more than my current policy without excess. i declined, told her to look at my policy again as my current is cheaper. And i asked her about the R400 challenge to which she rep**** that her manager is not happy with my details, so he DECIDED that i dont qualify for the R400!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>MiWay is this how you lure clients to give you confidential details? I wasted my time on this and for nothing. Why the hell did i not qualify? On what basis? Listen to all your recordings. look at my policy sent to you. A contract indicates that i will be paying that AMOUNT over a 1 year period, until it is reviewed and amended(if need be) for the next year. So why make excuses that its not less that 3 months?</p> <p> </p> <p>1. I want compensation on the time i wasted on answering your questions and on wasting time and airtime trying to obtain a document that you dont even need in the first place,</p> <p>2. i want confirmation that all my personal information and my contracts with my current insurer are deleted off your system and will never contact me again.</p>
