****py MiWay service

This was my last resort. MiWay keeps saying they will provide feedback, but it’s been 2 weeks and I’m still waiting.

I submitted a claim for my MacBook Pro because my keyboard and trackpad became problematic. My device was collected on February 27th by a company called GW Technical. A report was created and sent to me a few days later. This is where the problems started. As the owner of the device, I know what the issues are. The report from GW Technical stated minimal faults on the keyboard and nothing about the faulty trackpad. Yet, the MiWay consultant claimed that this was a comprehensive report and that water damage was the cause. A sonic bath needs to down to keyboard and trackpad after I questioned it.

I have been paying for insurance on this device since 2022. I would think that damaged components should be replaced, not washed. Even the iStore was confused by the report provided by GW Technical. No evidence of water damage was provided. MacBook Pros have sensors on the motherboard that change color when they come into contact with moisture. This company should know that and should have included it in the so-called comprehensive report they provided. That’s when I questioned whether this company was certified to repair Apple devices. Since then, MiWay has been silent. My MacBook could now be intentionally exposed to moisture to justify the report they provided.

I asked three questions which have been ignored:

Why are faulty components being washed and not replaced?

What happens if the sonic bath does not work?

What is the point of having comprehensive insurance if my device is getting a bath instead of being repaired?

Are these hard questions to answer, MiWay? I still want to see GW Technical's Apple Certification.

MiWay, please can I have feedback? Considering the time that has now passed and the silence from your vendor, I am scared to know the state of my device.

Please don’t lie to me MiWay. I heard this story before. Your consultants hide from customers, they own colleagues have to tell them to acknowledge the customers email and call backs ever happen. Like today, I was promised a call before close of business which never happen.
