PROLINE AUTOBODY IS UNRELIABLE AND ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES SHOULD STOP TAKING THEIR CLIENTS CARS THERE FOR REPAIRS

MIWAY SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND PROLINE AUTOBODY TO ANY OF ITS VALUABLE CLIENTS

I recently got into an accident and Miway took my car to Proline Autobody in Wynberg for repairs.

Yesterday, I was called to collect my car because the repairs on the car were complete. I was told that my battery is no longer working and is basically defective.

I checked my battery against the slip I received when I purchased my battery and the battery numbers are not matching. My batter is 619 and the one I have is visibily written 618.

I queried the battery with Proline with their consultant, Bianca, totally dismissive young lady and she showed me pictures of my car when it come in on the 12/02/2019. She specifically showed me the picture of the battery and the number on top of the battery corresponds with the current defective battery I have however the number on the side is not the same. As stated above, my initial battery is a 619 and not a 618.

Bianca, told me that she will not assist me.

I am disappointed in the manner in which Bianca addressed me without offering further assistance. I am more so disappointed in Miway for recommending Proline Autobody in Wynberg as their preferred panelbeater when they can easily changed the parts in your car and claim that pictures where taken when your car was taken in, which could be easily changed.

I want Miway or Proline Autobody to replace my battery because it is unsafe to use the current defective battery.

I am official on the look out for another insurance company and would highly recommend that no insurance should use Proline Autobody.
