Procrastination at its best!

On 3 June, through no fault of my own, I was involved in an MVA as two vehicles collided and one spun, finally coming to a standstill after hitting mine, while I was stationary at a stop street.

MiWay turned out to be the insurance company involved. To date, after all paperwork and photos were submitted promptly, I have had automated responses and speaking to the Manager also proved fairly futile.

On 7 July, an assessor finally called to find out details already on the police report, as if the incident had occurred the day before. No action from MiWay, just talk and empty promises, even on social media! They also have not paid for towing nor storage. Have had to rely on the goodwill of friends for over a month to get around and MiWay does not care. By now, their client’s vehicle is probably repaired and back on the road, mine is still in exactly the same damaged, undrivable state it was on 3 June. Procrastination at its best, not what one expects from an Insurer! Seems they do things their way, not MiWay.
