Premiums increase by 30% because I moved to the next road
Please be aware that you premiums increase by 30% because you move to the next road from where you were previously staying. I called Miway today to inform them that I have moved house also mentioning that this is a more secure complex than the previous one. The new place is about a kilometer away from the old place for which I informed them but they informed me that my premium will have to increase by 30%. This makes no sense at all and I have asked for my policy to be canceled as this is a **** to get more money out of me. I will be returning to my old insurer. Please be aware of this **** before thinking about insuring through Miway.

20 Jan 2022, 11:08A consultant called me after 1 day and still could not resolve my issue. Her explanations were based on assumptions and no clear data analysis to explain why the major increase. From my experience here I suggest that if you are planning to move house (even if 1 road away), don't take a gamble with Miway as they will multiply your premiums even if you live in a safe complex.
