POLICY PRICE INCREASE

Good day

I logged onto the MIWAY app today and noticed that my policy price has been increased from R955.00 TO R1225.00, which is just short of a 30% price increase. How is a R270.00 price increase justifiable? This amount isn't only un-affordable to me, but also unjust. My yearly policy renewal date is 21-01-2018, and this price increase hasn't officially been communicated to me as yet. I spoke to senior MIWAY representative THABISO from the call center with the hope that MIWAY could lower my premiums of some sort. After a few minutes on the call, THABISO advised me that MIWAY Couldn't do anything to lower the new premium increase. If MIWAY is so unwilling to assist its clients who cannot afford such exorbitant price increases, or is unwilling to retain its current clients, then i have no choice but to seek alternative insurance. As much as i would hate to leave MIWAY, the new pricing just isn't sustainable for me right now.
