Outrageous quotes

I am currently insured with Miway. I moved to Miway in December last year for two reasons. One the monthly premium I was quoted was less than what I was paying at the time, for give or take the same benefits. The second reason was the good rating Miway has on this website. I am now looking to replace my vehicle with a demo vehicle and I think someone at Miway has lost the plot. On your website I get quoted about R1500 per month to insure this vehicle. When I phone in to the call centre to see if that can be reduced, I get quoted R1900 per month, which was subsequently reduced to R1700. These figures are outrageous. Firstly has Miway forgotten that they have my entire short term portfolio, including movable items, 2 other vehicles and my household contents.

I think I am being quoted simply for a single vehicle portfolio. If this is not the case and the quotes as mentioned above are correct, then I don't think I will be a customer of yours for very much longer. Something somewhere is very wrong. I have an excellent credit record, I am over 50 years old and I am not purchasing a high performance vehicle and its value is under R300000-00.
