No reward for referral - Only empty promises

I was promised a R1000 if I could sign up someone with Miway for Car insurance (referral). Which I did. I called on 2/11.I was then told that the R1000 was actually a checkers voucher (already misleading me on the first call) and I needed to wait for the person I signed up's debit order to go off. Which I did. I was told to wait 7 days, I followed numerous times and still no voucher. Nobody can seem to help me. The consultants just seem to escalate the case, but still no call, still no voucher. Just empty promises.
