NO FOR MIWAY INSURANCE

My wife met with an accident in late November 2023, Miway then sent an assessor to scrutinize how the accident occurred. Miway then sent my car to Fix Autobody in Randburg, who are extremely ***********, The first delay was the sub assembly, then they proceeded to repair my vehicle which has never been in an accident prior with alternative parts. The first time I collected the vehicle I had to drive it back the next day as there was a major noise coming from the engine compartment, Fix Auto said that miway only approved portion of the repair with no assessor actulay going through to assess the vehicle. It remained with fix auto for another 2 months with them saying miway was not getting back to them with the approval for the additional. it was then said that all additional repairs where done I collected the vehicle again with no change to the repairs, took the vehicle back to fix auto and by continually calling miway i finally got an assessor to come and meet me at fix auto to go through the vehicle, additionals where then identified and according to fix auto they had repaired the second lot of additionals which was identified by the assessor, received the vehicle for the 3rd time with the same noise, i was then told by MiWay to take the vehicle to a suspension place to diagnose the problem to which I had to pay for with no compensation from MiWay. MiWay then requested i take the vehicle back to fix auto, to which I refused and took it to another service provider Tec Auto Body, who thoroughly went through the vehicle taking photos and doing a report and quote of the shoddy repair initially done. Fix auto went through with their workshop manager and their estimator to validate Tec Autobody report and quote as per the photos taken. My car is now 2 months with Tec Autobody because Miway wants to get Fix Autobody to confirm and accept that they did not do a proper repair of my vehicle and that they will pay for the repairs that was quoted by Tec Autobody. This is now 9 months later and no resolution. PLEASE NOTE MIWAY MAY BE A MORE AFFORDABLE OPTION, BUT WHEN YOU CLAIM THEN THE REALITY OF WHAT A SHODDY INSURER THEY ARE, COMES THROUGH. THE SAYING CHEAP CAN BE COSTLY IS SO PREVELANT WITH MIWAY.
