Name Drop is a Con!!!!!!

So last year around Octotober 2016, i used the Name drop function as a miway client to name drop a potential client. post reading all the terms and conditions of the name drop special, i ensured that the person name dropped comp**** with all the prerequisite in order to ensure that we have complide with the terms and conditions of the service. In short, the named drop person wuols need to tae up the policy online and then pay their premiums for a minimum duration of 3 months. in my case ( October, Nov, Dec).

On the 6th of January 2017, I followed up with Miway and spoke to a gentleman who then forwarded my call to a sinior advisor by the Name of Nthabiseng Maubane who unfortunately is the reason for this review!!!

The level of bad service received from Nthabiseng is beyond comprehension. To start with, she told me she would follow up on my query and provide me with feedback that very same day but she didnt. On the following Monday 9th January 2017, i again followed up on my query by sending Nthabisend an email, who then responded by requesting that i send her addtional information (my dad's policy number - as he is the person i name dropped) of which i promptly sent to her minutes after she had requested the information. Nothing was said from her for the next week and a half.

I then followed up with an email yet again on the 18th January 2017 first thing in the morning ( around 5am) to check on the status of my query as well as the date that i should expect the name drop reward to be paid into my account. she unfortunately only responded to my email the next day 19th January, stating that she will provide me with feedback before close of business on that very same day (19th January). Needless to say, such feedback was never received!!! of which i then followed up with ANOTHER email on the 20th to Nthabiseng querying the status of my reward payment. She then responded by saying the reward would be paid into my account on the very same date that miway debits my accound for premiums ( which is the 25/26 of each month )

On the 26th of January post all the miway debit orders had been debited from my account, i sent Nthabiseng ANOTHER mail asking that she follows up on my reward payment to see that it is done as per her mail promising me that the reward would be paid to me on my debit date. In the same mail i also queried why i needed to wait until the debit order date as according to the miway T&C it stated that the reward should be paid into my account 10 working days from the date that miway received the 3rd premium from the person i name dropped?

As i write this review on the 28th of January 2017, i am yet to receive the reward payment nor any feedback/response from Nthabiseng Maubane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come Monday morning, i will be cancelling all of my and my dads miway policies as the company is only interested in signing up clients but no regard for keeping them HAPPY!!!!! Secondly, they are not concerned at ensuring that they keep their promises as clearly demonstrated by Nthabiseng Maubane as well as miway management due to the fact that their own T&C of using the serive clearly stated timelines that no one at miway was able to keep let alone provide clents with feedback as to why they were unable to stick to the originally stated timelines in their own T&C document.

Regards

Unhappy Future Ex Miway Client

P.s. Ive been a miway client since 2014 and i have never claimed!!!! if this is how they deal with their customers, i would hate to see them in action when claiming for someting serious.
