MULTIPLE UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDERS
I am absolutely shocked and livid. I have car insurance with Mi Way (new customer, off to a great start!!!) for R400 odd a month due to be deducted from my account on the 26th. Imagine my surprise when on the 14th, R1,282.70 and R933.64 and R715.12 was debited from my account. I did not have sufficient funds to cover these amounts so these all bounced and I now have R345 in bankcosts. The thing that nearly brings me to tears is I have been nurturing my credit record over the years and have never missed a debit order. Now i have missed 3 in one day and my credit record is destroyed

18 Aug 2021, 08:58This morning another unauthorized debit order (debit order number 4) went off my account. Your failure to resolve the issue has left me no choice. I have already reported Miway to the ombudsman, I will be lodging a case of ***** at the SAPS in my lunch and will report infringement of my rights as per the Poppia act. I would appreciate some sort of honest feedback on how this happened (technical issues does not suffice for a matter of this scale). I also need assurance that this will not happen again which your agents have been unable to assure me of. This is absolutely shocking and disgusting. Please do not phone me if you have no answers or solutions. For anybody reading this -stay away from Miway and do not under any circumstances give them your banking details.
