<p>What a nightmare insurance is, I would think having you car insured is to assist and make life easier, well thats the glorified BS MiWay feeds in their advertising....</p> <p> </p> <p>I was recently in an accident on the 07/05/2016, exactly one month ago, and sadly my car a write off due another car tailing with bright light, being that is was early morning hours there was no coming traffic so his had lea way to over take, unfortunately that was not the case and stayed on my tail, picking up speed to get away from this dude I lost control coming around the bend a quite sharp bend going onto the sand part of the raod, in the attempt to bring my car back into the road, I hit the drain, tyre burst, hiting intoo one barrier car supn hitting into the second set of concrete barriers bring the car to a hault, and amazingly the dude that had been tailing me did not even stop he carried on driving, thank goodness i had been alone in my car and that no other car had been involved and anyone getting hurt</p> <p> </p> <p>I had lodged my claim the very next day on the 08/05/2016 an online submission to be exact and also reported the accident at the police station</p> <p> </p> <p>MiWays auto response was that one of our consultants will be in contact with you within 2 working days - what a load of ****, it took MiWay a whole 2 weeks to contact me I had to send email after email following up on the progress of my claim, mean while storge at the towing company is just being added day on day, this had not been a MiWay towing group - regardless of who towed my car, thats why I have insurance....</p> <p> </p> <p>That then became an issue to pay the towing group, and further delays the process of my claim, until resorting to a threat to Hello Peter them, make the Board of Directors aware of whats going on and how i was being handled and then reporting the to the ombudsman, before i knew it the write off car was then paid for and uplifted from the towing group, if thats not enough, a lady by the name of Reanette has the nerve to tell me that is a paying client that, I need to take some responsiblity some where, LIKE HELLO LADY THATS WHY I GOT MY CAR INSURED, really felt as if MiWay was doing my a favour for free...</p> <p> </p> <p>So i finally get to meet with the asseccor told him what happened gave him all that he needed from me, i have nothing to hide, he requested my banking statement, and cellphone records as when the accident happened i had left my phone at home and thats how another twoi g group ended up towing my car, the cellphone records where merely to assist in verifing my where abouts... </p> <p> </p> <p>everything had come back clean....</p> <p>after this accident I had some altercations with my dad family issuse....</p> <p>my dad being a tow truck driver thought he could take advantage of me by trying to score some money, unfortunately for my dad i dont work for the bank for no reason, i caught on that i was been taken for a ride by my own dad.... </p> <p> </p> <p>so because my dad did not acheive what he wanted to he became vindictive and spitful, when the accessor ahad now gotten to interviewing my dad to verfy where i was, dearest daddy had told the accessor that i had been heavily intoxicated - i have not touched alcohol in 3 years, again highlighting the fact that my dad is a TOW TRUCK DRIVER he knows how insurance works and operates, my dad being feared by many even his own family, now influences a number of 5 people living in the same house to tell the accessor the same thing....</p> <p> </p> <p>now thus far everthing has corresponded to all i had told and provided the asseccor with, untill daddy hits me when i'm already down and out </p> <p> </p> <p>the accessor comes to meet with me and seemingly prepares my for a declined claim base on </p> <p>dishonesty and DUI not obtained </p> <p> </p> <p>i dont know what i was dishonnest about because everything the asked for i provided </p> <p>i dont even know what to say about the DUI - i havent touched a drop of alcohol in 3 years </p> <p> </p> <p>what i can say is that i find it hard to believe that my claim could be declined based on hearsay from people that live in one house and is out to get me </p> <p>had i been that intoxicated as i am now miliciously being accused, would i have really been able to provide a detailed discription of how the accident happend, would i have not made an accident long before it happened where it did.....</p> <p> </p> <p>my word as THE PAYING CUSTOMER is disregarded due to a family fued....</p> <p>out of fear for my life an accident was cause with only myself involved with me being the only that loses out.... </p> <p> </p> <p>what does MiWay expect, that i had stopped pulled over, get hijacked and possibly gotten shot and suffered or died....</p> <p> </p> <p>accident - car write off, i'n still alive </p> <p>or </p> <p>hijack and being shot - dead, or survive living in fear each time i got out and suffering with mental and psyhcological trauma </p> <p> </p> <p>have i not been through enough already and now to go through all this with MiWay that i am paying for tomake life easier and seccure, please tell my what then have insurance companies </p> <p> </p> <p>o let me not forget to top it off, MiWay has sent me notification that my premium was reveiwed and went up by R 700 for a car i dont have for a car that is non existant and is basically a tin of junk....</p> <p> </p> <p>MiWay must fall ineed</p>
