MiWay, takes very long to assess claim

On 16 July a Miway client ignored the red light and damaged our (uninsured) car. On the scene, we took the necessary information, I took my son to school and we had the car towed home. 17 July we contacted MiWay and dealt with Kgomotso - very helpful and friendly. She send all the necessary paperwork and information. As the car can't drive (suspension, control arm got damaged), we had to get out panelbeaters for qoutes. On 30 July we send in all of the necessary photos, qoutes, tow invoice, proof of payment and video footage. Our claim was assigned to Kubeshnee - not friendly or helpful at all. On 2 August I received an email saying they received the documents, but will only attend to my claim, once their client's cover has been confirmed - follow up next week. 7 August, I followed up, their client's claim has been approved and an assessor is appointed to attend to validations of our claim. I should remove any storage costs or car hire costs ( no where did I event hinted at that!) 13 & 15 August, I contacted Kubeshnee again, awaiting assessor feedback 15 August : Please note the quotes that were submitted both the SP’s quoted for suspension parts, however there are no clear photos of damages to the suspension and car has no bumper on I took the photos of the suspension and send it, there is no bumper, as seen on the video, it was damaged and torn of during the collision. 19 August, I followed up, waiting for assessor feedback 21 August, I followed up, with management, awaiting review 23 August, I followed up again, Kubeshnee is out of office until 26th. I send LeeAnn an email - she phones me back - not friendly or helpful, basically telling me that Kubeshnee will deal with me once she gets back It's bad service not to keep a customer up to date, it would've been much appreciated if Kubeshnee just send me an email with the progress of the claim But, since I send in the paperwork, it's been almost a month and the MiWay client's car is already fixed. Please settle my claim now?

Reviewer Update
26 August: And after all of that, MiWay today told me that "Each Party To Bear Own Cost"
I was told that my quotes where not in line - too high
I did ask the manager how much panel beating, painting and suspension experience he had - to which he rep**** "none, he relies on experts".
It's good to know that people with zero experience has the final say on our claims
Sorry to the friendly customer service guy who phoned me this morning, but this was a lost cause!
