MiWay Scratch and dent Cover does not cover scratches and dents

Unimpressed with the way MiWay is handling a claim. I have scratch and dent cover which MiWay called me to sign up for. I was at gym when my vehicle was scratched on the rear bumper. I called to report and make a claim as well as share the details of the person that scratched the bumper whilst parking. MiWay now claims that they do not cover this, how is a scratch not covered in scratch and dent cover? Their explanation is that they do not cover damage that in MiWay's discretion is deemed to have been incurred as a result of a collision or other accident and not as a result of day-to-day motoring. This was not a collision or accident. Would not advise signing up for this cover as they manipulate terms and conditions to ensure they are responsible for no repairs. In this case why sell the product? Seems like they're robbing their own customers.
