MiWay's R400 ****!

MiWay agents call on numerous occasions, I rarely allow them to quote me, however the last time they called they told me they would pay me R400 if they can't beat my current insurance premium. They did the quote and they couldn't beat my premium. They asked me to send through my schedule and after I did, they then undercut my current insurer by roughly R40 pm after receiving my policy schedule and asked if I then accept the quote, as a way insuring they don't pay me the R400 they promised and also walk away with my policy schedule to update their pricing methods. This is dishonest insurance practice and hope other short term insurers take them to the Ombudsman for this. They wasted my time, there's no way I would switch for R40 pm its ridiculous and they knew it. If anyone receives a call from MiWay, hang up and continue with your day, they're a dishonest insurer and should you need to claim one day might worm their way out of that as they did with me.
