Miway - Poor service and such a rip-off insurance company

My husband met with a minor accident while transporting our daughter to school. We have a comprehensive cover with miway. The quote from their agent to repair the vehicle amounts to R10, 079.46. Their offer is to write off our vehicle, or get our own agents to repair whilst at the same time removing the vehicle off insurance cover. How is this possible. This is the first claim made for this vehicle. After requesting numerous times telephonically and in writing, for a full report as to how this decision was made, they continue to send me the offer to sign with no further information. Not forgetting the numerous calls we have to make to them and emails which we receive no feedback from. We are currently inconvenienced and they have no regard in further delaying this process. I am certainly not pleased with their service. CAN A VEHICLE BE WRITTEN OFF FOR R10,000???
