MiWay offer R2000 to to settle a claim of R50000

I am a third party and your client collided with me and requested me to communicate with you for settlement of this matter.<br> I contacted Miway and I was requested to send all necessary documents and reasons why I believed your client was on the wrong and that I deserved compensation.<br> I comp**** and sent all the documents including the reasons for my claim and in response I was informed that Miway would only compensate 70% of the damage from which I would be expected to compensate 30% towards the repair costs of your client's vehicle who caused the accident and for the following reasons:<br> 1. - Failed to keep a proper lookout of the road ahead as well as side streets regardless of the fact that you had right of way.<br> 2. - Failed to brake or take any evasive action such as braking or swerving to prevent this collision. <br> Clearly the person who handled my claim did not even bother to read my reasons for the claim as I clearly stated that I tried to apply brakes and hooted but it did not help. If I did not apply point 1 and 2 what would I have tried to apply brakes and hooted for. Then MiWay offer me R2000 to settle a claim of R50000.
