MiWay not doing My Way

MyWay is to help MyCommunity. Crime is a huge problem and as an insurer this must also be a concern for MiWay. In our area we have a Community Police Forum. It is like the old NeighbourWatch. We drive around and patrol the streets to keep our community safe. We are NOT the Police. We still have to keep to the traffic rules. We are doing it for free, rather it costs us money. CPFs are the only way forward for South Africans. We must stand up and together. <br> <br> After informing MiWay yesterday that I would like to join the CPF and use my personal vehicle for patrols I was told they will not cover me. We are not security or emergency services. MiWay need to reconsider this matter urgently or the community needs to be informed that MiWay supports crime. There is no nice way to say it. It is either crime OR supporting people making a difference. It is easier to sit in front of the DSTV at night but somewhere in My community a traumatised mother, kids and father will wake up with their private space invaded. Even worst, and this happened in my area, a father is killed.<br> <br> So MiWay, CPF Patroller vehicle cover or Crime. Who do you support?<br> <br> Looking forward to you reply.
