MiWay? No Way!

MiWay insured our vehicle for HALF of it's worth. The vehicle was in an accident last week, and MiWay decided to write the vehicle off. We had no asisstance on the day of the accident, and had to do everything ourselves. The first action came 4 days after the accident, after numerous phone calls from our side. Until now, a week later, no one has tried to find out if we are ok. We received an email stating the vehicle will be written off. What a coincidence that the damages, according to the MiWay assessor, is R1000 more than their estimate value of the vehicle. We have an independent quote for repairs that is less than a THIRD of the repair quote from MiWay. The assessor also refused to show us a detailed quote - if this is not *******ion I don't know what is. . . Then they made a "huge" offer of R2 000 towards repairs if we decided not to claim from them. This is not the first time MiWay used this method. This is not what is expected from a company who is suppose to help you when you are in need.
