MiWay is not insurance done "MY" way, its there way of cheating us.

<p>Hello Peter</p> <p> </p> <p>So I was recently involved in a hit and run accident which caused so much damage to my car. Immediately when the A1 assist towing services came to the scene they gave me a phone to use so that I can call the only people that I needed to help me at that moment which was my insurance "MiWay". I spoke to the Miway consultant over the phone and they asked me if i was okay and if any passengers were injured, which made me feel really good because i felt like my insurance were really looking out for me and that they care. The consultant then told me that the A1 assist team are authorised to tow my car and they will take me home there after, i then questioned about an accident report and i was told that i have 24 hours to report accident to the police station. So i did that and sent Miway the reference number to process my claim. </p> <p> </p> <p>Then Miway sent Thinus van Dyk to asses my car, of which i even said he doesnt have to drive all the way to my house, I will glady meet him at the place where my car was being stored. The questions that i was asked made me feel so uncomfortable because it was as if this man is literally sitting there telling me that this accident was my fault. He kept on trying to convince me to say that i would take my car an pay for it myself, which i didnt. He even told me straight to my face that he is going to recommend that they dont pay my claim because he felt that i was being dishonest. How the hell am i being dishonest when someone drove into and didnt even stop. So i told him to go on with the claim and that i want it to be in black and white that Miway is going to reject my claim. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now that my claim has been rejected im busy disputing it. Oh and what ****es me off the most is that they then delivered my car to SMD without my consent and now to collect my car I have to pay three thousand odd rands. </p> <p> </p> <p>MiWay is definitely not a good company to insure with, they are arrogant and they are full of ****. I will not stop until im sitting infront of a judge who will listen to my case. </p>
