Miway is contracted to people who use pirate parts

The company Miway is contracted to which is Innovatec mobile from johannesburg replaced my phone with a pirate part.

i had been paying for cellphone insurance which they refer to it as movable insurance for the past 2 years i had put in a claim in 9th of June 2017 for my lcd and battery losing power. the phone was then picked up by the courier company on the 15th of July 2017.

on the 22nd of June 2017 the phone was repaired and tested which i then had to pay an excess of R400 then the phone will be released by innovatec and couriered back to me which i did.

i had then recieved the phone on the 27th of June 2017 with no battery life and decided to charge the phone. When the battery reached 100% i took it of charge and switched it on and left it aside without inserting the sim or memory card. i noticed that the battery began to decrease rapidly and the screen wasnt responding as fluid as it should it was jamming and wasnt responding at all sometimes the characteristics of a pirate lcd . So i notified both the Innovatec and Miway that i am paying a premium for a R9000 phone why should they put in a pirate part. the person that was handling the claim Shaun Naidoo said he was unaware that they were putting pirate parts and if they cant repair it they would have to replace the phone and he would get back to me. i went on the innovatec website after i informed miway and noticed that they do put in generic parts. Generic is another name for pirate.

Miway had already spoken to Innovatec and agreed to pick up the phone and replace the screen. i was ****ed of at the fact they put a pirate in my phone of which i am paying a premium every month for this is unacceptable for a big company like miway you shold be ashamed of yourselves and you cant blame the contractor because you supposed to be doing your background checks and see who you are dealing with.

On the 3rd of July 2017 i informed Shaun Naidoo that i am still waiting for someone to come pick the phone up from the 30th of June 2017.

On the 4th of July 2017 the phone has been picked up.

On the 6/7th of July 2017 Shaun Naidoo had called me and said that Innovatec had recieved the phone and opened it up and the screen that had been replaced is cracked and had sent him photos. I was taken by surprise because i had given the phone to the courier guy in working condition and was still on when i gave him now they are coming up with excuses that the lcd was cracked because i sent it back and informed both Miway and Innovatech that they have used a pirate part in my phone. i notified Shaun that that was a lie and they were trying to get out of fixing the phone again or could not get the part for the phone.

On the 8th of July 2017 Shaun Naidoo informed me that he spoke to his supervisor and he said that Shaun should return the phone to me, pay me out R2600 and i should repair the phone myself. So now i must go through the inconvience of looking for a repairer that stocks an original part when i am paying Miway a premium every month with out fail for.

The claim is not finalised but i just wanna put it out there so you people can see whats going on and people higher can intervene.
