MiWay Insurance....the worst insurance ever

I was involved in a car accident on the 5th April 2019. All my premiums have been paid up to date. My assessor was Andre Stephens. I am absolutely disgusted at the service received from MiWay. I've never ever felt more like a ******** than when the time came for me to lodge a claim. MiWay goes beyond to find every reason to not pay a claim. He treated the claim as a police investigation and not an insurance claim. Andre requested me to do the following when it came to validating my claim: He asked to view my personal email to see my location at the day of the accident – I was so intimidated but kept questioning myself if this is really what someone goes through when they are claiming, he then went behind my back and called my place of work to speak to my manager to try and gain access of the company cctv footage – this was unsuccessful after my company told him that they would involve legal if he carries on pushing for it. Mind you, me as MiWay insurance client was never aware of this request and found out through my manager, who wanted to inform me that because of company policy this is not possible. He also informed me that he will be going to the other place I visited that day and get cctv footage – which was another form of ************. I thought insurance companies are supposed to make things easier when it comes to claiming. On the 29th April 2019, we had a telephonic conversation whereby he told me that in the future I'd always have issues with gaining insurance coverage if my claim is rejected. That was the day I felt I needed to put a stop of the ************ and I addressed it with him by requesting that all communication be kept via email so I'd have record of the manner he treats me. The next day I was sent an email stating that my claim has been rejected. Numerous occasions I had requested information or reports to validate the reasons to why the claim was rejected. To this day, nothing. I just want to warn other people of the manner that MiWay conducts its investigations so that people think twice before getting insured by MiWay
