MiWay Insurance will not honour claims - what a rip-off

It is with regret that this article was published without consulting with MiWay, to establish the facts and the merits of both of the claims in question.
Claim number 716964 to which you are referring to, was correctly rejected on the basis that it was a maintenance related issue, and not an insured peril. Specialists in the construction industry were involved prior to MiWay making a decision and the Ombudsman for Short-term insurance also found in our favour. Claim number 796973 was rejected as what you were claiming for was a specific policy exclusion, and we have also explained what to do if you’d like to dispute the outcome of this claim!
