MiWay has terrible and dodgey insurance policy

I was insured with MiWay insurance and was involved in a car accident on the 13th of May 2017 after taking MiWay in November 2016. MiWay car insurance was quick to take me on as a client asking simple a basic questions that I answered to them honestly and accurately. When I was involved in a car accident my car was written off and it was a traumatic experience. I submitted a claim with MiWay and the chain of events that follow are shockingly unbelievable. My Claim started of with the person who assisted in capturing in it then the next day when I followed up it had moved to an assessor because they allegedly suspected something. Now here is the strange part about it all, when the assessor arrived to see me at the office at work, he starts of with the security gaurds are asks if they know the vehicle and I have a recording of this, he proceeds to ask the security gaurds showing them a picture starting of with the first one he sees but the security gaurd looks at the vehicle and then asks him who's car it is and what happened to it, he mentions my name but the security gaurd is totally confused by this strange guy asking about a car that parks in the building so the security gaurd calls another one to confirm if he knows my car but they both clearly state that there are many cars that park there and they do not know this one, this is because I would not regularly use my vehicle to come to work only sometimes when im actually using it as I did also use alternative means of transport which MiWay was fully aware of from inception of the policy. They alos proceed to tell him that even if they did know which they didnt, they wouldnt be allowed to divulge such information to him and why is looking for this information. The assessor acts all friendly and he is kindly shown the way on where to find me if its me he is looking for (shady act number one). Then we begin the questioning and let me tell you I was interrigated like a ******** which I found very odd, he proceeded before requesting or concluding any investigated that he already knows what was going on which I found odd because how can you make up your mind about something before conducting a thorough investigation? he requested bank statements from the beginning of may till the time of the accident, phone records from my service provider and ask me to fill release of information documents and it did not occur to me what this guy was implying until very later on in the investigation and after seeking legal advice on whether this is allowed and that is after I had submitted all the documents this guy requested (shady act two). Now it occured to me later on that he was implicating that I must have been drunk when the accident happened but after his investigations I believe he was disappointed to find out that infact I was not and had not touched a drop of alcohol, and his reasoning for assuming such? the time inwhich the accident happened as it was early in the morning. He clearly now had to find a new angle after going through my call records and bank statements and basically all my private information and was disappointed with the outcome he jumped into the policy. Now this is the part I want people to note with MiWay car insurance policy:

They say that they are not declining my claim but "voiding" it, this is a fancy term they use to tell you that they have "no contract" with you even after you had been paying premiums for months. they say it was a "regular driver issue" strange for an insurance company with a open driver policy to say that because I put my Mother as a the regular driver of the vehicle as appose to myself which was accurate because I had alternative means of transport and they say it would have affected the premiums but that is not my fault that is MiWays calculation system of the premiums not mine, I submitted information that was accurate and true to them and to date as much as they have tried to prove otherwise they have not done so not even beyond reasonable doubt. Now please be careful in taking there policies as to them it is not about covering the client but about how much they can get the client to pay. It occured to me that had I been paying the premium they wanted me to pay and not the correct premium I have been paying I would not have had this problem. There is more......in the investiagtion the assessor is slick and uses an approach people are not fami**** with and say he is calling to "confirm the condition of the vehicle" then makes the relevant people laugh and cracks jokes in between to get them to feel as if its a friendly meanwhile he is looking for the answer he wants, so he asks a series of questions gets the correct answers but then he asks if those people have seen you with the vehicle and obviously they have and they would confirm yes they have and they know it is your vehicle which is accurate and then uses that to conclude you are the regular driver. The assessor does not call to get any information from the regular driver of the vehicle but will call the people who have seen you just couple of times driving the vehicle to reach their conclusion but the people he should ask he doesnt because he is fully aware that as truthful as their answer will be that would force MiWay to payout and that he cannot have because his job to ensure MiWay doesnt pay out especially in my case where i have only paid seven months in premiums and i was fully covered from inception, never missed a payment not once and I just happened to have the terrible luck of having a car accident where my car is written off now they want to leave me indepted by a reasoning of a "regular driver issue" so they are "voiding" it.

Please be very careful with MiWay car insurance infact I wouldnt encourage anyone buying a vehicle that will be driven by others as well to take up their insurance policy. I had other places that quoted me less than MiWay but with the assumption that they have a good client profile and after being advised by a broker whom I will never use again that MiWay is a good insurance company I went for them.

We enter into contracts with these paying for things that might or might never happen taking the risk and the enter into agreement with us with the understanding that anything might or might not happen they take money from our accounts within 3 days to begin the process and guess when they have to payout they treat you like a ******** when they cannot prove they will find a stupid a silly excuse like a "regular driver issue" to not pay out. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ADVISE ANY YOUTH OR ADULT MEMBER WITHIN MY PROFESSIONAL SPACE TO TAKE UP MiWay insurance. Spread the word i have already started at the office and have gotten 2 of my colleagues to change with their brokers and they have left MiWay and moved to others. I just wish I had known before I took them.
