MiWay Garbage Car Insurance

My claim concerning a car involved in a single vehicle collision in a storm on the N4 towards Pretoria was rejected. Problem? The driver. No data used to reach the conclusion was shared, no pay-out at all. The weather conditions were non-normal on the day, stormy on the N4. Nothing was mentioned about the weather in the analysis of what could’ve gone wrong, just the driver and his tyres. Post-accident assessment indicates all left side tyres are worn out, the front tyre with a hole in it, the rear left tyre tread a little below 2mm depth (possibly a few kms on the trip across provinces). The tyres (left rear in particular) reached that far (scheduled for replacement in Jhb in Jan 2022) - no proof on the wear-rate that occurred on the day or prior, till the accident - just an instantaneous inspection on the car about the condition after the accident. Currently fixing the car at my own expense. No reply from the MiWay disputes department ever since!
